OPERATION BLACK 2 the LIGHT are a series of films created as a vehicle to deepen our understanding of the Hampton Roads urban communities by functioning as an independent grass root media advocate.

OB2L’s mission is to capture the stories that are rarely being told by mainstream media by focusing on people who lives are most directly impacted by social, cultural and political change, and who are often overlooked or misrepresented by the media.

Our goal as 21st Century scribes is to utilize film; to document, educate, uplift, and encourage the community. These series of videos open up a dialogue between the community and policymakers. —OB2L
