Why Tom Marino won’t be confirmed as Drug Czar by the U.S. Senate
Marino’s support of Trump in 2016 presidential election may have played into his appointment by the President as Drug Czar

(MYRTLE BEACH) President Trump announced that he was nominating Rep. Tom Marino (R) of Pennsylvania to head the Office of National Drug Control Policy for the second time. Marino had cited personal reasons for turning down the prestigious position several months ago. His personal reasons “resolved” themselves and Marino was appointed for a second time by Trump. That appointment is now in the U.S. Senate for confirmation.
ARMENIAN GENOCIDE

In 1915, leaders of the Turkish government set in motion a plan to expel and massacre Armenians living in the Ottoman Empire. Though reports vary, most sources agree that there were about 2 million Armenians in the Ottoman Empire at the time of the massacre. By the early 1920s, when the massacres and deportations finally ended, some 1.5 million of Turkey’s Armenians were dead, with many more forcibly removed from the country. Today, most historians call this event a genocide–a premeditated and systematic campaign to exterminate an entire people. However, the Turkish government does not acknowledge the enormity or scope of these events. Despite pressure from Armenians and social justice advocates throughout the world, it is still illegal in Turkey to talk about what happened to Armenians during this era.
Daniel Calder: No, whites did not invent anti-black racism; Muslims did

Conversations about racism in America are so often restricted to the relationship blacks have with whites that one is almost tempted to believe that whites are somehow the African-American’s most ancient, formidable and primordially evil enemy. The reader may be surprised to know, however, that whites were not the first group to enslave blacks, and discriminate against them, purely on the basis of their race. Deplorable though the treatment of black Africans was by Europeans, the dubious distinction of originating anti-black racism is awarded to the Arab and Persian Muslims of the medieval period.

“The United States is, in term of its laws, one of the least racist societies in the world. We have some of the best anti-discriminatory laws on the planet.”
Purdue Pharma has another “killer” surprise for America — addicting 7 to 16 year olds!
There is little outrage from the public in Purdue Pharma targeting children as young as 7 years old with yet another Holocaust of death in an FDA approved opioid.

(MYRTLE BEACH) On September 14, the FDA Advisory Committee will be holding a hearing on Purdue Pharma’s new “blockbuster” opioid called Butrans. It is targeted for severe pain in children ages 7 to 16 years old. There is not a doubt in my mind that once the FDA approves this latest killer opioid presented by Purdue Pharma, it will be off-labeled marketed as OxyContin was for all pain levels. This time though children are the guinea pigs and Purdue Pharma and its owners, the Sacklers will in all probability double their profits.
President Trump nominating Rep. Tom Marino, PA (again) for “drug czar” is a disservice to America!
Hopefully Mr. Trump will not allow the “alligator” with financial ties to the pharmaceutical industry to become “drug czar” while Marino thumbs his nose at the DEA and the families suffering the loss of loved ones to an out of control prescription opioid/heroin epidemic.

(MYRTLE BEACH) President Donald Trump announced that he intends to nominate Rep. Tom Marino (R) of Pennsylvania to head the Office of National Drug Control Policy — second time for nomination. Marino has been a longtime supporter of the president — so much so that Trump nominated Marino back in the spring for the same position — drug czar. Marino withdrew his name in May because of “family issues.”
